If you want to get more vapor have a look at my video i did titled Electronic Cigarette Super Mini – Getting More Vapor. I show a sneaky way to increase the vapor volume in the notoriously low-volume Super Mini ecigg.
Also it dont make any difference what brand of nicotine/liquid you put in it. I have used 4 diff kinds and they all do the same job.

With the m401, the more you use it the less vapor it produces. I think this is mostly due to the fact this is a 3-part system – battery, vaporizer, nicotine cartridge. Vaporizers clog up with use and after completely smoking up a cartridge (one cartridge is equivalent to 20-30 cigarettes) they MUST be cleaned, or replaced. A pain and inconvenience, and an added expense to the 3-part eciggs that they don’t tell you about.
I personally prefer a 2-part system – the eciggs that have the atomizer as part of the cartridge. This does away with any issues of clogging atomizer and reduced vapor volume. The only 2-part ecigarette available, to my knowledge, is made by Green Smoke.

I’ve just quit smoking. At least for now. Perhaps I’ll try this one if I have a craving next time.

Hey, nice review man. The M401 is considered an average device when it comes to vapor production (about a 4-6 on a 1-10 scale. If you want massive amounts of vapor and a better “throat hit” you should check out the joye 510/janty dura-c devices. They have a manual switch to activate the atomizer and absolutely produce amazing vapor (8-10). It’s another $50-60 but it might be worth it for you.

Gotta be honest, that was the first time I’ve ever watched a review on youtube without having to cringe through the whole thing. You seem like a pretty real dude. Nice work.

Hello! Maybe you can help me with this:
My boyfriend is having a hard time quitting and I want to get one of these for him (as a surprise). The thing is, he only smokes ultra lights because he says regular and light cigarettes are “too heavy” – does that mean the smoke is thicker than ultra lights? Would you say that the M401 is good for someone who smokes ultra lights (since you mentioned it has a “lighter” vapor production?)
Thanks!

Pretty cool review. You should know, however, that nicotine is itself a carcinogen. The main benefit of smoking e-cigarettes is that they don’t produce the by-products of burning tobacco and paper that actually lighting up does.
Two things you might consider is going to a model of e-cig that supports “direct dripping” (dripping e-liquid directly on to the atomizer) and adding a bit of glycerine to your e-liquid. The glycerine gives you a heavier, thicker vapor that is more like cigarette smoke.

Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen! Get this right! The main point in the e-cig is to get away from the CARCINOGENIC TAR! The e-cig also gets away from carbon monoxide that binds to hemoglobin in preference to oxygen. Tobacco cigarette smoke also has traces of hydrogen cyanide, and tiny radionuclide traces. The e-cig ought to be brought to mass market ASAP! It ought to be endorsed by the FDA, AMA, WHO, and so on.
